Forces of Nature

Finally finding your Life Purpose is a little like getting a pony for your birthday after wanting one all your life! Here it is standing on your back lawn, staring at you expectantly. Now what do you do??

The work you have been doing with your Purpose Formula should help prepare you for your next steps, but that and a nickel will get you a cup of coffee, right? Take a deep breath. You have your beautiful pony…now you can begin to enjoy it!

The first thing you may want to do is create a vision board from your Purpose Formula…express it in a creative way that will help you know what to do next. Having an image in your mind’s eye is a very powerful way to begin manifesting your desires.

Now you have your vision board …it’s inspiring…it’s specific and it’s a solid representation of you – your true nature, your essential qualities, your natural gifts, your resistance and your meaningful need…all in gorgeous colour in front of you. Hang it up in a place where you can’t avoid it – put it in your face, so it’s the first thing you see every morning.  

Now I want you to apply the 3 Forces of Nature to help you manifest this vision into reality. Are you ready for that? I know you are.

First, The Force of Doing. This is where you remind yourself of your strategies…those to-do lists you stuck to every available surface. Here’s where your courageous self springs into action. Name your goals and decide which steps you can take towards the first one. If your Life Purpose is to finally write that book that is going to change the world, make a list of steps required to start the ball rolling…decide on a writing space, outline a schedule for yourself—which hours in the day work best for you, etc. etc. Be careful of the shadow side of this Force…over-thinking! Take it easy and most importantly…just get started. The momentum you’ll feel from taking those first steps is creative gold! It will buoy you up and give you the courage you’ll need to take the next step and the next and the next.

Second, The Force of Being. If the first Force was all about energy moving out into action, then the second Force is energy coming back towards you. Here is where self-care is so important. Give yourself all the support you know you need – time for stillness, time for reflection, exercise, connection, etc. You want to live the vision you have created, so you need to nurture yourself every day so that you stay strong, centred and grounded.  Why? because it allows you to participate and stay in that whole consciousness. You must bring the joy of whole consciousness with you as you get on with your to-do list.  

The pony needs to eat:) Listen deeply to what your body, mind and heart need as you step into your vision. This is a big change, so you need to stay aware and sensitive to what you are hungry for during this process. 

Third, The Force of Creation. This is the combination of the other two forces…the doing and the being come together to create a new energy. This is where you mobilize your complete power and find the full creative expression for your Life Purpose. Now the alchemy really beings to work…your commitment to self-care, to focus on your goal, to putting right action into motion…all of this creates your vision into reality. I know it sounds simple…maybe too simple? Well, you can only know by trying. Trust your creative power! You’ve come a long way and now it’s time to leap. It’s not a one-time thing…it’s a daily re-commitment to allowing your vision to become your life’s true Service.
